The Bloody Baptism of 9/11

This is the Anniversary of the Bloody Baptism Given By the Islamic Terrorist
In September 2001 and of Our Ineffectual Response To That Attack

Started this and my darling wife came home from slaving at the Post Office to take me and the Dog to the Healing Field in Sandy, Utah a few miles away. Every year since the tragedy of the terrorism this small Utah town has had a memorial program assisted by a local company, COLONIAL FLAGS, the Healing Field consists of 2,581 Flags of Honor for civilians killed, 415 U.S. Flags for police officers and firefighters killed, 80 foreign flags for foreign nationals killed; 44 Utah and U.S. Flags for Utah casualties in the war on terror since 11 Sept 2001.

There were no flags for the craven terrorists who were the hijackers of the planes.

The trip to the Healing Field had a very calming effect on me. Walking the rows and aisles of flags each standing for a lost man, woman or child for some reason was very calming as the wind caressed each flag as we walked by them. Almost as if being touch by the individuals whose names composed the red and blue stripes of the Flags of Honor.

On coming home I made the mistake of watching the final half of the ABC network special on the 9/11 tragedy. The tragedy itself was not what angered me so but the political maneuvering within our government that made it possible for it to occur.

It was the power grubbing at the top that left the door open for all of this to happen. None have clean hands, neither Democrat or Republican.

The hunt for Osama Bin Ladin should be called to a halt in my opinion and the hunt for the culpable in this country begun in earnest, immunity given to none. These crimes smack of TREASON to this old country boy. There is not much wiggle room here.

There may be a great deal of fancy Lawyer talk but when it comes down to brass tacks. The final question is did you or did you not fail in your sworn duty to protect your country against her enemies? Yes or No?
